Counterpointe - Props
A series of close-up shots of several props from my senior thesis, Counterpointe. These follow the same theme of combining elements of baroque architecture, clockwork, and musical motifs.
The chandelier is one of the two centerpieces of Counterpointe’s environment. Once it is fixed by the automaton sisters, it rises back into its proper place.
The grand staircase, modeled after the interior mechanisms of a music box.
Some more views of the music box stair case. Fun fact: the prongs are accurate to the game’s theme!
Some of the props that can be found in Euphonie and Odette’s bedrooms.
Chair turnaround.
The sound statue that Euphonie can activate with her singing bell throughout the game.
These props are a part of my senior thesis project, Counterpointe - a fully playable vertical slice. Programs used: Autodesk Maya, ZBrush, Substance Painter, Substance Designer, Marmoset Toolbag, Unreal Engine 4. Lit and re-rendered in Unreal Engine 5.
