Counterpointe - Character(s)
Every story needs a protagonist, and every relationship needs two people. The automaton sisters Euphonie and Odette were originally a problem for this project as there was only enough time in the budget to make one character. In order to get two characters out of the time it takes to make one, I created a design that could have its silhouette drastically change with the addition of a couple of extra prop pieces.
I drew inspirations from the little figures in antique music boxes, early animatronics, and ball-jointed dolls.
