Countertpointe - Environment
Counterpointe is my senior thesis project for Ringling College of Art and Design’s game art program. It is a fully playable vertical slice that follows automaton sisters Odette and Euphonie as they must learn to work together to fix the music box they call home. This was a solo project that I had built over the course of about 4 months, from greybox to playable game.
The environment sits at the intersection of three main themes: music, clockwork, and baroque ballrooms. The shape of the space is based on the interior of a violin, which made for a lot of usage of splines in my architectural work.
